Catch up!

Today, I am finally making some time to blog. I really need to get on the ball and do this more often. Instead of spending time reading other's blogs I need to write ours. So... tons has happened since my very first entry. I don't think that there is any way that I could possibly catch up but I will try to include some of the important things.

Nicholas is changing so much and it seems like every day it's something new. He just turned 6 months old for one!!! We paid a visit to the Pediatrician and here are his numbers for this milestone month. He is 26 1/2" tall, Weight is 15.10 lbs. And his head is 16.8 inches. He is in the 50% for height, and 20% for weight and his head. At his 4 mos appt he was 65% height, and 50% weight. He is growing but not too rapidly. Like his Dr. said, "He's proportionate!" Nicholas had a lot to say when we were at his appointment. He was just jibbering away with his pediatrician. It was reallly funny! So, some of the things that our little guy is doing now are.... He sits up all by himself. (he's been doing this for almost a month) He also likes to play with his feet and stick them in his mouth. He talks a lot and just started doing this loud voice, kind of like he's screaming but he's not! It's really funny because he looks so serious while he's doing it, like he has something really important he's trying to say!! He is also eating solid foods now and loves them!! He is a great eater and doesn't spit his food out too much! We love him sooo much and have so much fun with him! Who knew that this would be soo much fun!

About 2 weeks ago we went down to Newport Beach for the Turcsanski family vacation. We rented out a beach house and stayed for a week! It was wonderful! We went to Disneyland for 2 days and then to Sea World for a day. The rest of the days we spent on the beach, it was just what we needed! I think I could live down there in Souther Cali, I absolutely love it!! Nicholas did really well too. He loved to play in his tent on the beach, and he loved to relax by listening to the waves crash on the beach. He actually slept best on the beach!! We saw the dolphins swimming in the ocean and even saw a Seal that was washed into the shore. Pretty neat stuff! Nicholas also loved watching the Shamu show at Sea World! He is such a great little baby, and did so well on this trip. There was one day when Ben's cousin Hyrum took Ben, dad, Jeff, Justin, and Joe on a tour of the Disney animation studios. It was a real treat for the guys and they couldn't stop talking about how cool it was!! It was so much fun to be with family for the week and to spend time on the beach!! We willl for sure be going back!... Hopefully sooner than later!! I am going to try and put some pics in of our trip a little later on... So, stay tuned!
